These are dedicated national support programmes in the management of the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic (TACR). The programmes are implemented in the form of public tenders.

National Competence Centres (2018 - 2022)
The programme of the National Centre of Competence (NCC) is focused on supporting a long-term cooperation between the research and application spheres and strengthening the institutional base of the applied research. The aim is to increase the efficiency and quality of results of the applied research and the technology transfer in key fields with a growth perspective, increase the competitiveness of companies and strengthen the excellence and application relevance of research organizations.
The total of CZK 5.07 billion has been allocated from the state budget of the Czech Republic for interventions in favour of the RIS3 objectives.
EPSILON (2015 -2023)
The programme is focused mainly on improving the position of the Czech and, in the global context, the European industry by supporting projects falling into the category of applied research (including the industrial research, experimental development or a combination thereof). The aim of the programme is to support projects whose results have a high potential for a rapid application in the market, in new products, production processes and services.
The total amount of CZK 1.06 billion has been allocated from the state budget of the Czech Republic for interventions in favour of the RIS3 objectives.
DELTA 2 (2020 - 2025)
The programme is focused on the bilateral international cooperation in applied research, experimental development and innovation of Czech companies and research organizations and their foreign partners. The aim is to acquire knowledge and skills leading to new products, processes and services or to significantly improve them. The programme focuses on cooperation with partners mainly from the countries outside the EU (Asia, South and North America), while obtaining the TA CR grant is conditioned by the project support by both the Czech (TA CR) and foreign party (foreign organization in the given locality).
The total of CZK 1.13 billion has been allocated from the state budget of the Czech Republic for interventions in favour of RIS3 objectives.
ÉTA (2019 - 2023)
The aim of the programme is to strengthen the social and human dimension in applied research, experimental development and innovation activities and to apply the outputs of these activities in the form of new or substantially improved existing products, processes, processes or services.
CZK 1.06 billion has been allocated from the state budget of the Czech Republic for interventions in favour of the RIS3 objectives.
THÉTA (2018 - 2025)
The focus of the programme is based on the updated State Energy Concept of the Czech Republic, which was approved by the Czech Government in May 2015. The aim of the programme is to contribute in the medium- and long-term horizon to the fulfilment of the vision of transformation and modernization of the energy sector through outputs, results and impacts of the supported projects.
The total of CZK 3.10 billion has been allocated from the state budget of the Czech Republic for interventions in favour of the RIS3 objectives.
ZÉTA (2017 - 2025)
The programme aims to promote the cooperation between academia and business through the involvement of College students and, where appropriate, also the secondary- and the higher vocational education students and training programs (hereinafter to be referred to as “students”) as well as young researchers (hereinafter to be referred to as “young researchers”) under the age of 35 inclusive. The aim is to involve students and young researchers in the research and development activities aimed at using the results in practice and increasing their interest in projects with a specific practical impact on the economic sphere.
The total of CZK 0.25 billion has been allocated from the state budget of the Czech Republic for interventions in favour of the RIS3 objectives.
